By way of comparison, internally across the Microsoft corporate enterprise, on our roughly 260,000 computers we generate about 3 million internal emails each workday, and receive about 20 million incoming emails per day – though of the latter number as many as 98 percent of them get blocked by our spam filters 🙂
With numbers like those above, it’s easy to see the attraction of using cloud-computing services!
